Coke. Pop. Cola. Soda. Doesn’t matter what you call it, it’s delicious. It’s so sugary and sweet most Americans don’t seem to care how bad it is for us. And no matter how many times we see the charts and pictures showing us how much sugar is really in our drinks – when McDonald’s offers a dollar for any size soda, that deal is just too good to pass up.
That is, if you really don’t mind all the adverse health consequences like weight gain, increased chance of diabetes, tooth decay and decreased bone health.
