This week’s assignment for MMC5006 is to follow the Catersource trade show and look how they used social media for the event.
Social Media Coverage
Prior to the trade show, the coverage of the event was mainly on Facebook and Twitter. There were also postings on Instagram, Google+ and YouTube, but they weren’t updated that frequent. In the case of YouTube, the newest video on the channel was posted four months ago and on Google+ there wasn’t a new posting since November 2014. Also on Instagram, there were a few postings the week before the event and before that, there hadn’t been a new posting since December.
